Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree strongly preferred.
10 to 15 years of experience in workforce development, economic development, and/or related experience, demonstrating increasing leadership roles.
Content knowledge in labor market trends and workforce development curriculum.
Significant experience with workforce data, including data analysis and data synthesis/presentation.
Proven experience building cross-sector partnerships between higher education and employers and/or labor.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with and coordinate activities among diverse groups of faculty and administrators.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with proven experience in promoting an engaging and positive organizational culture.
Ability to be flexible, positive, take initiative, and demonstrate good judgment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Duties Description Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive Workforce Development Strategy by cultivating a deep understanding of SUNY campuses' expertise and capabilities, and identifying needs in current and emerging high-demand fields to create or expand high-priority programs by developing objectives and metrics, spearheading funding proposals, building partnerships, supporting implementation, amplifying impact, and tracking key performance outcomes to ensure that goals and timelines are met.
Lead the coordination and acceleration of current workforce development efforts across SUNY System Administration, including the Office of the Chancellor; Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development; Office of the Provost; Office of Community Colleges & the Education Pipeline; Office of Academic Health & Hospital Affairs; Office of Operations and Management; and Office of Sustainability & Climate Action to drive alignment as a System.
Identify, pursue, and expand collaboration opportunities and develop, coordinate, and implement strategic partnerships with key industry and government entities such as:
State agency partners (e.g., Empire State Development, NYS Department of Labor)
Employer partners and umbrella organizations
Labor partners and umbrella organizations
Other relevant public- and private-sector and non-profit entities.
Lead implementation of SUNY's goal to achieve an internship or other high-impact experiential learning opportunity for every undergraduate student.
Working with the SUNY Impact Foundation, Government Relations, the GROW Support Unit, and other internal and external partners, create and advance grant and funding proposals to expand, strengthen, and sustain SUNY workforce development initiatives, including through State and Federal funding sources.
Establish and lead SUNY workgroups and represent SUNY System Administration as the Chancellor's primary designee in workforce development initiatives across the System and with partners.

Additional Comments Additional Information:
Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications. The range for this position is $175,000-$230,000.
