Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License.
Experience with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point is preferred. Possession of a Notary Public License is preferred, or candidate must be willing to obtain Notary Public License to assist with Recreation seasonal hiring paperwork.

Duties Description - This position will provide support to the Division of Operations/Recreation staff in the Indian Lake office. Under the direction of permanent staff, candidate will be assisting with the daily operation of campgrounds/day use facilities supervised out of the Indian Lake working Circle. Candidate must be willing to assist with daily campground operations as needed, such as working weekends, & holidays, as well as overnight campground coverage. Must be willing to assist with janitorial type work in the Indian Lake Office and Maintenance Center.
- Duties may include greeting visitors to the Indian Lake office; answering phones & directing calls; process incoming & outgoing mail; copying, scanning & filing, both electronically & paper; and maintaining a schedule for conference calls & meetings. Must operate electronic devices such as but not limited to computers, fax machines, scanners, and credit card machines. Candidates will be asked to maintain files, inventory supplies, and facility equipment.
- May be responsible for handling and accounting for all monies, i.e. petty cash, Pavilion Rental sales, Peddler Permits, and Temporary Revocable Permits.
- May be involved with ordering/purchasing of parts and supplies as needed in compliance with State Finance Law; as well as receiving orders.
- May assist with entering invoices into FMIS system.
- May assist with reconciliation of procurement & travel card expense reports.
- May assist with MMS data entry for Work Orders.
- The candidate may be required to operate a motorboat to access remote state facilities and will need to obtain certification to operate motorized boats or personal watercraft.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.
Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain.
Must be able to work in remote areas.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Overtime may be required.
Weekends and holidays may be required.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Must have certification to operate motorized boats or personal watercrafts at time of appointment.

This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/25, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
