Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field and four years of professional experience in construction planning, or an Associate’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field and six years of the above profession experience
Duties Description Coordinate the activities of the regional staff.
? Perform scheduling of projects using various software (Primavera Project Planner– P3, P6, and Microsoft Project).
? Liaise with both construction management firms and design firms to ensure quality control in each component D&C is responsible for on all individual projects.
? Confer with construction supervisors, consultants, and D&C management regarding the progress of assigned projects, any delay mitigations or construction issues/problems that may exist.
? Identify potential problem areas within schedules, change orders, and other construction completion areas to mitigate problems and maintain program schedules.
? Develop and implement D&C standards and procedures for scheduling management.
? Utilize working knowledge of construction/field service and related workflow processes.
? Communicate and coordinate schedules with contractors’ schedulers to save time on projects without sacrificing efficiency or safety.
? Review and approve on all scheduling durations within a construction project during the design phase to be included in the contract as well as the scheduling durations in larger change orders.
? Provide continuous improvement of D&C’s scheduling roles and responsibilities in relation to construction industry’s latest trends.
? Perform the full range of supervisory duties.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
? Frequent travel will be required.
