Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in any field or four years of specialized experience in a research, reporting, or analysis role.
The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:
An associate’s degree and two years of specialized experience.
Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4, SG-25, within Finance/Finance/Finance Administration, the Project Assistant, SG-NS, will locate, research, and apply for funding opportunities as well as track deadlines, spending and reporting requirements for all grants received.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Research grant opportunities from government and non-government sources.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather input for all proposals.
• Draft grant proposals and supporting documents and create polished proposals.
• Track deadlines and funding requirements.
• Develop and maintain a grant management system for funded grants that includes report due dates, budget adherence, and any other grant requirements.
• Draft and submit reports for grant compliance.
• Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to follow processes and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
