Duties Description Description: Premium Audit Department (PAD) is seeking student interns to assist with review of records uploaded for audits, contacting, and informing record up-loaders of inadequate records and request and outstanding records are uploaded expeditiously to ensure their audit is completed timely. PAD is responsible for auditing an insured's business records to determine actual exposure to make a final calculation of premium for workers' compensation insurance policies. PAD consists of the following functions:

Review of Policyholders' business records and operation to determine appropriateness of estimated premiums.

Update codes and payrolls to reflect operations Renewal billings.

Conduct on-site (policyholders' or representative's home, office, or other), virtual (video conference) or remote (policyholder upload records) visits with policyholders/representatives.

Customer outreach to review remote audit outcomes.

Work with policyholders, brokers, CPAs, and Safety Group Managers

Minimum Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

Be a permanent New York State (NYS) resident and/or actively enrolled in a NYS college, university, or graduate program.

Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program) or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate program.

Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent.

Able to work full-time Summer (37.50 hours weekly) and part-time (10-15 hours per week) fall and spring.
