Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.
Duties Description Position 1: Begins April 1, 2015 and ends March 31, 2016. Conduct wildlife population surveys, habitat management, and respond to wildlife damage complaints and issue damage permits. Collect wildlife harvest data and trap and band turkeys. Incumbent will work an 80% schedule.
Position 2: Begins April 1, 2015 and ends November 30, 2015. Deploy and monitor trail cameras to monitor timber rattlesnakes. Incumbent will work a 100% schedule.
Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointments. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to dates listed in duties description. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
