Duties Description The Office for Justice Initiatives’ Problem-Solving Justice Division (PSJ) is charged with supporting New York’s network of problem-solving courts, including those designed to address gender-based violence such as domestic violence (DV)
courts, human trafficking intervention courts (HTIC), and integrated domestic violence (IDV) courts.

The Problem-Solving Justice Division is looking for a skilled writer, public speaker, and team player to assist with the development, maintenance, and growth of these courts.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:
• Providing training and technical assistance to DV, HTIC and IDV judges and resource coordinators.
• Serving as PSJ’s representatives on DV/HTIC/IDV working groups and committees.
• Liaising between the Unified Court System, community providers/organizations, and executive branch agencies.
• Developing, writing, and managing grants
• Liaising with OJI's Child Welfare and Family Justice Division (CWCIP) to support the work of the Permanent Commission on Justice For Families and other initiatives.

The Problem-Solving Justice Division is based in Manhattan at the Office of Court Administration in New York City. However, the person selected for this position will be assigned to a regional office outside New York and substantial travel throughout
New York State will be required. Applicants must be comfortable with Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, and preference will be given to those with experience generating reports, data entry/management, and public speaking.

Minimum Qualifications One year in the Senior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Forensic Psychology, Criminal Justice, Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with over 5 years of relevant experience.
