Duties Description Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Information Technology Training Coordinator will oversee the development, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive technical technology training programs for employees across the agency. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the technical training lifecycle, from needs analysis and curriculum design to content creation, delivery support, and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct needs assessments to identify IT training requirements across the organization.
•Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective IT training programs using a variety of methods, including instructor-led training.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and training methodologies to continuously improve training programs.
• Lead engaging virtual and in-person sessions on Microsoft’s Cloud & AI Platform, and AI Business Solutions, tailored to diverse enterprise audiences.
• Conduct single- and multi-day experiences using varied instructional method presentations, whiteboarding, discussions, and hands-on labs.
• Continuously deepen expertise in Microsoft Cloud technologies to ensure training reflects the latest advancements in AWS, Google, security, and AI systems.
• Leverage a mindset of continuous improvement and professional growth to drive innovation in technical skilling and collaborate with peers to scale new instructional tactics and delivery modalities which interact with the learners.
• Collaborate with global teams to shape and enhance the cloud systems (AWS, Google) and AI skilling programs, contributing to strategy, innovation, and learner success.
• Contribute to the development of IT training strategies and plans.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Seven years’ experience in the training/education of information technology systems; such as cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, or computer technologies; and three years of progressive supervisory experience of trainers conducting information technology systems training/education.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) or Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).
• Experience working in a government or public sector environment.
• Experience with developing training programs for enterprise-level IT systems.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering effective IT training programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum development methodologies, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging and accessible training materials.
