Duties Description Illustrative duties:
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of campaign finance filings by political committees and candidates.
• Audit the books and records of political committees and candidates as may be necessary to effectuate a complete and thorough assessment of compliance with Rules, Regulations, statutes, and Board Opinions and policies.
• Assist with bank reconciliation process.
• Communicate with the committee on program requirements.
• Conduct audits such as election cycle contribution compliance, loan review, and contribution limit analysis.
• Assist in the analysis and review of campaign finance disclosures and filings relative to complaint processing.
• Assist in the development and implementation of public campaign finance projects.
• Audit and approve payments based on compliance with statute and regulations.
• Certify eligibility of candidates for matching funds pursuant to statute and regulations.
• Assist on all tasks and matters as may reasonably be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of accounting or finance or general business or other related experience; or five (5) years of related experience. Bilingual proficiency a plus.
