Duties Description As the Multimedia Manager, you will:
• Oversee the video and graphic design teams, assuring their work meets communications creative standards.
• You will provide guidance, support, and professional development to graphic designers and videographers, set performance goals, conduct reviews, manage workloads, and ensure efficient use of team resources.
• Set the creative direction of communications for the agency including developing creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency, and contributing to the overall marketing and communication strategy. The ideal candidate can define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, while ensuring quality control.
• Streamline production workflows, monitor project progress, and ensure all multimedia assets meet high standards.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, and oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of all multimedia assets.
• Work closely with marketing to develop and support integrated campaigns with compelling visual content.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Nine years of experience producing video content in one or more of the following areas: national broadcast network, local network television affiliate, cable news, commercial media production facility, marketing communications agency or nine years of experience as a graphic designer in a marketing communications agency, a commercial media production house, national broadcast and cable network, local network affiliate tv, or related operation. One year of experience must be at the supervisory level. College study in a related field may be substituted for up to four years of experience with 30 credit hours equaling one year of experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Nine years of progressive experience producing, shooting, and editing exceptional commercial or social media videos that incorporate highly visual graphics or nine years of progressive graphic design including a strong portfolio in motion graphics, animation, and graphic design, with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics. To be considered for this position, you must submit links to your video and/or graphic work.
• Five years’ experience leading a creative team of videographers and/or graphic designers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once using exceptional organizational skills that include maintaining attention to details.
Additional Comments As this position requires travel, the appointee must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State and have a motor vehicle or otherwise demonstrate their capacity to meet the transportation needs of the position.

Please note: Due to operational requirements and funding considerations of various divisions/positions, there could be occasions in the future where unit assignments may change. Should this occur, it will not impact your title, salary or location.
