Duties Description Located within the Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management (OPCHSM), the Administrative Management Services Group (AMSG) is comprised of two bureaus with mutually exclusive job duties, and two sections that support cross-over activities. The Grants Management Bureau (GMB) supports grant initiatives across the Department of Health (DOH). GMB’s work primarily manages all health care transformation capital programs from award level through contract development, vouchering, and contract close-out. For non-capital contracts, GMB manages multiple rounds of awards for the Doctors Across New York (DANY) and Primary Care Service Corps (PCSC) loan relief programs. Job Duties Include: - Request budget/ spending updates from OPCHSM Program Areas
- Assist with Purchasing & Temp. Services - including submitting Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Change Notices
- Contract development, reimbursement, and monitoring - including contract writing, voucher package reviews, and reimbursement requests
- Contract amendments and processing though the Statewide Financial System
- Data management
- Vendor responsibility reviews
- Professional correspondence/communication via email and during conference calls
- Special projects & other duties throughout AMSG as needed
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate college student. Documentation of matriculation and enrollment in the Fall 2026 semester must be submitted with your resume.

- Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well with a team and manage multiple competing priorities is required

Additional Comments Temporary, part-time, non-competitive. Salary determined by academic level. 20 hours per week during the academic year is required, schedule is flexible. Must maintain matriculated student status to retain employment.
Telecommuting is permissible up to 50% of working hours based on operational needs and at the discretion of the assigned Program area
