Duties Description The NYS Digital Service team at the Office of General Services (OGS) seeks a creative professional to serve as a Product Digital Services Manager. The Product Digital Service Manager will support the operation of various digital projects.

The Product Digital Services Manager will lead digital initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across various teams and detailed tracking of each initiative phase and progress. This role is key in overseeing initiatives from concept to delivery, focusing on optimizing user experience and tracking of performance metrics.

Ideal candidates are dynamic, strategic thinkers with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of the digital landscape. They will be highly collaborative, possess problem-solving skills, and have data-driven decision-making abilities.

• Oversee end-to-end digital project management, including defining scope, requirements, deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
• Develop and monitor project plans, assign tasks, track progress, and escalate challenges when necessary.
• Facilitate collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, develop, and implement digital projects.
• Lead project meetings, ensure team alignment, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project intake process and maintain strong relationships with ITS programs, Web NY, and agency web/application teams.
• Support agency digital communication needs, including website and application projects.
• Lead key activities such as wireframing, requirements gathering, user research, testing, and quality assurance.
• Track project success and measure improvements in customer experience post-launch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Eight years of experience* in public relations, social media, and digital communications.

*Substitutions: A degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or a similar degree may substitute for experience as follows:
• Associates degree: Two years of required experience
• Bachelor’s degree: Four years of required experience
• Master’s degree: Five years of required experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Skilled in developing, implementing, and executing multiple digital projects, strategic plans, and roadmaps
• Proven ability to successfully lead projects with product managers, content strategists, designers, and developers
• Working knowledge of user experience (UX) and design
• Adept at translating complex government processes and transactions across all digital mediums while ensuring online usability and comprehension
• Passionate about exploring new web technologies and innovative solutions to common web challenges
