Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this position. You must be physically able to perform the duties assigned. Experience raising game birds, particularly Ring-Necked Pheasants, and experience with farm equipment/tractors is preferable.
Must have valid driver's license. Candidate must also be able to negotiate difficult terrain, work in remote areas and work in adverse weather conditions. Travel (including overnight), overtime, weekends and holidays may be required. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies.
Candidate must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Duties Description Assist with daily care of Ring-necked pheasants in Various age classes. Maintain 166 acre facility. This may include minor repairs, landscaping, flight pen construction and other light maintenance.
Additional Comments This is a temporary appointment with a duration of 5/1/16 - 11/23/16.
Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 11/23/2016. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 11/23/2016.
