Minimum Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable education practices.
Duties Description As a Labor Services Representative Trainee 1, you would be trained to understand state and federal Unemployment Insurance (UI) Law, rules and regulations under the UI Systems Improvement and Modernization (UISIM) Project. This position will assist with the day to day operations of this project and duties include: preparing correspondence, reports and documents for internal and external customers and stakeholders using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Access; researching nationwide efforts of UI Modernization to determine best practices; preparing project timelines and monitoring progress; and utilizing verbal and written communication skills to address inquiries and ad hoc requests as needed.
