Minimum Qualifications Must possess a valid New York State license to practice as a registered professional nurse and have minimum of 1 year post licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Administers medications to individuals and monitors individuals for reaction or side effects. Records individuals' medical information and vital signs. Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement or evaluate individual care plans. Monitors all aspects of an individuals care, including diet and physical activity. Provides health care, first aid, immunizations or assistance in convalescence or rehabilitation. Performs, coordinates, directs, and provides nursing care ion a facility unit or units, in clinics or infirmaries. May function as a unit supervisor on the evening and night shifts. Prepare daily time and work schedules. Ensures that inventory standards for medicines, solutions, supplies and equipment are maintained accounts for the issuance of controlled drugs and narcotics, inventories such drugs on each sift worked. Maintains accurate and detailed reports and records. Clinical rounds and wards.
