Duties Description The HPA 2 will support the Bureau of Staffing Operations and Support, in the Admin Management Unit. Responsibilities include: Coordinate executive administrative operations supporting senior leadership, including scheduling, meeting logistics, onboarding coordination, and management of office resources to ensure continuity of operations;
Coordinate and track rate related packages and other Division submissions; maintain a centralized submission database and produce routine weekly status updates for leadership review;
Coordinate regulatory review schedules, agendas, and supporting materials for Division reviews and periodic multi-year review activities; track actions and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
Minimum Qualifications Permanent Transfer Candidates: Current New York State Department of Health employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive, service as a Health Program Administrator 2, SG-25 OR current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive, service in a title SG-23 or higher and eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; Experience supporting leadership and coordinating administrative or operational activities; strong attention to detail and ability to track, organize and maintain accurate records and reports; Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
