Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following accepted educational practices plus two years relevant experience.

Duties Description The incumbent will support the Administration and Finance Unit in regard to Internal Controls. Duties include but are not limited to:

•Complete all out of state travel requests on behalf of the agency
•Work with program staff to collect all relevant information in regard to travel
•Prepare all travel documents necessary for Agency, Division of Budget and Executive Chamber review and approval
•Review all travel financials for accuracy and consistency
•Ensure all travel expenses are within the approved U.S. General Services Administration and New York State rates
•See all travel requests through the approval process and notify program staff of status
•Assist with the agency’s annual Internal Control program
•Assist with the drafting, editing and distribution of policies, standards and guidelines
•Assist with the management of the agency's records are per the retention policy
•Complete special projects as assigned

Additional Comments NOTE: Support of operations during times of emergency and disaster from State Emergency Operations Center (EOC), state field offices and/or local deployments may be required, which would result in a change and/or increase in working hours, locations and/or duties.
