Duties Description The New York State Department of Labor is seeking a creative and enthusiastic intern to join our team as we overhaul our website. This specific position will specifically focus on user experience testing, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance. This is your chance to dive into a high-impact project, learn new skills, and help us vastly improve the user experience for millions of New Yorkers.

What You'll Do:
•Bring your ideas to the table to improve how users navigate our site, making it intuitive and easy to use.
•Join forces with agency workgroups to restructure and rewrite content, making sure it’s clear, concise, and accessible to everyone.

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•Strong Communicator: Clearly convey complex information, both in writing and verbally.
•Efficient & Independent: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines, working independently
•Commitment to the Mission: Focus on user-centered improvements.
•Technical Expertise: Familiarity with UX methodologies and principles. Proficiency in MS Word.
•Optimally would also have familiarity with CMS like WordPress or Drupal.
