Duties Description The incumbent will provide clerical and office support to the regional Materials Management (DMM) program, consisting of approximately 14 staff. Specific duties will include processing transactions, maintaining records, documents, and information; producing correspondence, reports, and charts; sorting and distributing mail, maintaining records and files, including scanning and appropriate electronic filing/document management; assisting with complaint tracking and response, answering phone and appropriately responding to or referring inquiries to appropriate staff; assisting with budget administration and fiscal allocations; and ordering supplies, handling purchases, payments and DMM staff expense reports using the designated fiscal management system.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to read, understand and apply procedures, rules, policy, and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in computer programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows Explorer.
Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/2026, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Travel may be required.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
